- This Lobster displays nicely on it’s slab of limestone that measures approx. 7.75″ x 10.16″ in size. The lobster itself measures approx. 5.52″ long from tail to tip of claws. There are multiple Saccocoma floating crinoids present as well!

The Solnhofen Plattenkalk, also known as Solnhofen limestone, is a Jurassic Konservat-Lagerstätte that preserves a rare assemblage of fossilized organisms, including highly detailed imprints of soft bodied organisms such as sea jellies.
