Oreodont Skull for Sale. Oreodont is an extinct member of even-toed ungulates. | They lived from the Middle Eocene through the Miocene Periods. Though they are often compared to sheep, they are not related at all. They are closer to pigs and camels but were unlike any living mammal group today. | The two families of oreodonts are the Merycoidodontidae (originally known as Oreodontidae) which contains all of the advanced species, and the Agriochoeridae, smaller, primitive oreodonts.
