Sigilmassasaurus brevicollis is a carnivorous dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous of Morocco. Its name means “Sijilmassa lizard”, referring to the name of the city near the place where its fossils were found. Its species name “brevicollis” is Latin for “short neck”, as a result of the neck bones being very short. Finally, this is the second more robust morph of Spinosaurus present in North Africa.
