In 2016 because they were searching for their camels two brothers discovered a pile of stones. In this case the piles of heavy dense stones had been known about for decades but nobody suspected what they actually were. The brothers however suspected that they were meteorites. They collected a ton of the stones as a result of their suspicions. They took them home. Scientists took the stones and verified to be rare Pallasite meteorites! With only 61 known to date Pallasite’s are rare meteorites
