- Specimen will come in the 6.25″ x 8.25″ Riker Mount as Shown. Meteorite is housed in the 1.25″ Gem Jar inside of the Riker Mount.

The meteor is named after the city of Chelyabinsk Oblast in Russia because of this. It fell to earth on February 15, 2013. As a result of the air burst approximately 7,200 buildings were damaged and consequently 1,500 people were injured as a result. The resulting fragments were scattered over a wide area.
