- Placenticeras costatum. This Gem Ammolite Hand Specimen Measures approximately 6 ½” x 2 ½” x 4” tall. Very rich colors on both sides. First side is mainly green with orange flashes and nice ribbing. The second side has really beautiful coloring with lots of rich blues and a great pattern as well. The first side has three and a partial bite on the bottom that all line up. They go from smaller to bigger and all have compression fractures around them. The second side has at least one bitemark with compression fractures around it. This specimen will include a Certificate of Authenticity as well as an identification Label.
