Fossil Coeloma Crab Nodules from Denmark are found along the Limfjords coast in the Jutland region. When conditions are just right, such as during winter or after heavy rains, the gray, round nodules are exposed in the clay and collected. The nodules are then cracked open to check for crabs inside. Only 1 out of 10 nodules contains anything worth preparing. Finally, the painstaking task of preparation begins. The nodule must be reassembled and repaired. Then air scribes and air abrasives are used to prepare the crabs. After many hours of work, the nodule is restored with a beautiful crab inside, with very little reconstruction needed.
